What do you do at Signature?
I work closely with families delivering customized, comprehensive solutions for estate planning, philanthropic strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
What qualities make you best suited to do what you do?
Empathy. Since 2005, I have been fortunate to serve many ultra-high-net-worth, multigenerational families who view me as their trusted advisor. That requires the ability to understand and care deeply for the people you serve.
What do you love about wealth management?
My favorite aspect of our craft is building a trusted relationship with the families we serve. I also love the positive impact we make through educating clients, creating success, and delivering peace of mind.
What makes Signature different than other firms?
From the moment I discovered Signature, I was struck by the thoughtfulness interwoven through every aspect of the firm. From how we serve clients, to our Beliefs, Values, and Behaviors, everything we do is thoughtful.
What do you wish more people understood about their wealth?
It takes support and a powerful process, but you can identify your version of success. And once you find it, you can achieve true peace of mind. I really enjoy helping someone discover what true success means for them, then achieving those goals no matter how large or small they might be.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am most proud of becoming a Certified Financial Planner through a two-year education process and a three-day examination.
What do you do outside of work?
Being new to Virginia, I have enjoyed exploring the East Coast with my wife, Jillian, and our two young children. We love being active outside, whether that’s hiking, playing golf, or running.
